The Tamil Federation has been approached to assist with finding approximately 150 cadets (interns) for one of the government departments at national level.
They are looking for young unemployed South African graduates of Indian origin between the ages of 18-35. Individuals from all provinces are invited to apply. They must at least be in possession of a senior certificate or matric and a post-matric qualification in any field of study.
This department is committed to bringing diversity into the Department and need our help to find young people of Indian descent to be part of their cadet (internship) programme. The young people joining the cadet programme must be committed to a eighteen month training programme on the National Certificate level. The National Certificate is a typical NQF level 5 fit-for-purpose certificate of competence accredited by SAQA through PSETA.
In line with the recommendations of the National Development Plan to deal with issues of structural unemployment among Youth, training on the National Certificate is divided as follows: 20% theory, 20% simulation, 50% experiential or on the job, 10% Coaching and 10% mentoring.
The cadets will receive a stipend of R 5 000 (per month) for the duration of their training. Upon completion of this programme individuals will be selected and offered permanent posts within the department and will be deployed offices.
